Folder selection
Your source mailbox loads as one tree with a checkbox per folder and a message count, so email migration size is clear before anything starts. Inbox, Sent, Drafts, labels and nested subfolders switch on or off one by one.
Untick Spam and Trash so junk never reaches your new account. Compact view limits your list to key folders, and duplicate emails are detected and skipped.
Message preview
Click a message and it opens beside four analysis views. Admins use them to confirm sender, route and size before a move starts.
Content shows your mail with every address line. Message header lists From, To and Subject. Properties reports item attributes, while hex and raw message views show stored values and message code.
Selective migration
Quick Search finds a keyword from your search bar and highlights every match in yellow. Advance Search covers two fields: All Search for every field including calendar and date, and Emails Search for name, subject, To, Cc and content.
Filters apply before migration starts, so a five year archive can move with only its last two years. That helps when your new account has a smaller storage quota. Set From and To dates, filter by sender or recipient and limit attachments by size or extension.
Destination options
On Microsoft 365, migrated mail can land in a primary, archive, shared or public folder mailbox. Archive and shared targets suit mail kept for records instead of daily use.
Options include create empty folders, include email headers and append into default folders. After migration, open your destination account and check your migrated folder. Need a safe copy first? Open Email Backup Software before you migrate emails.
