4Which licence opens CommuniGate files
CommuniGate Files sit under Email Servers in the Open menu. Email Servers belong to the Business licence at $299 and the Enterprise licence at $499 and the Personal licence does not list them. CommuniGate Migration Tool opens those files and saves your mail where you need it.

Source files
Select Open, then Email Servers, then CommuniGate Files. Choose the folder that holds your CommuniGate files and the wizard brings your mail into its panel.
Choose the folder of the user whose mail you want to move or add a single file.
Message preview
Click any message and a reading pane opens beside four tabs. Content shows the body, Message Header lists the sender and routing data, Hex View shows stored bytes and Raw Message shows the source.
Right click an attachment for Open, Save or Save All so you check files before migration starts.
Filters
Advance Search lets you search in All, Emails, Calendars, Contacts, Tasks or Notes and set a From and To date. Press Find and tick only the folders you want to move.
Reset clears your filters and folders you leave unticked stay out of the job.
Output formats
The Export menu groups targets. Email Files hold EML, MBOX and PST. Document Files hold PDF, HTML, TEXT and CSV.
Email Services hold Gmail, Office 365 and IMAP and Email Clients hold Thunderbird. Select a service, sign in to the target account and your mail lands there instead of in a file.
Export options
Switch on open folder after export, leave out greyed out folders, create empty folders and include email headers. For PST output, create an individual PST file for every folder so every PST stays small and quick to open.
Select Browse to choose a destination, then Save. Show Error Logs lists any item that fails.

Open CommuniGate files
Start CommuniGate migration tool, select Open, then Email Servers and CommuniGate Files. Choose the folder that holds your CommuniGate files.
Preview and select mail
Your CommuniGate folders load as one tree. Click any email to preview it, then tick the folders you need.
Filter and choose a target
Use Advance Search to limit the job by item type and date. Select Export, then PST, EML, MBOX, PDF, Gmail, Office 365 or another target.
Save or send your mail
Set options, select Browse for a folder and press Save. For Gmail or Office 365, sign in to the target account first.
